Globe Telecom is set to launch its direct-to-cell (D2C) satellite service this June 2026 through a partnership with Globe Telecom and Starlink.
The direct-to-cell (D2C) satellite service will start in pilot areas in the Visayas and parts of northern Philippines.
The rollout will be done in phases and will initially focus on geographically isolated and disadvantaged areas (GIDAs), where traditional mobile networks are limited or unavailable.

According to Globe executives, the service is still being developed based on early testing and user feedback.
At launch, the service will support Android devices first, with iOS compatibility expected to follow later.
