However, things can change, especially when they’re received well. Xiaomi 12s Ultra is the company’s first Leica-branded device and focuses heavily on camera capabilities, according to CEO Lei Jun.
For the brand, this is positive news, since it will finally allow them to showcase their close collaboration with Leica. Recapping, the Xiaomi 12s Ultra features a large, 1-inch camera with a 50.3-megapixel f/1.9 IMX989 sensor, PDAF, and OIS. Two 48-megapixel cameras accompany the large primary camera: one is an ultra-wide-angle camera with PDAF, and the other is a periscope camera with 5x optical zoom, PDAF, and OIS.
The Xiaomi 12s Ultra may be coming to the Philippines, but such a technological marvel comes at a cost. If Xiaomi decides to bring over the 12GB/256GB variant, the Xiaomi 12 Ultra will cost around ₱55,000.
