Instinct Solar

Never run out of battery with Garmin’s Solar-Powered Smartwatch

Starting today, you can now purchase the latest innovative smartwatch from Garmin — the Instinct Solar that comes in Graphite, Flame Red, and Camo Edition, and fēnix 6 Pro Solar in Black, Mineral Blue and fēnix 6S Pro Solar in Light Gold and Amethyst Steel. All are available to purchase via Lazada, Shopee, Garmin Brand Stores, authorized retailers, and Kinetic. See the prices below:

  • Instinct Solar – P24,995
  • Instinct Solar Camo Edition – P27,995
  • fēnix 6S Pro Solar and fēnix 6 Pro Solar – P52,995

Unlike other solar-powered smartwatches, the latest from Garmin includes innovation that lets them continuously charge even when covered by clothing or mud when taking it to mountain biking. Geared towards the outdoor types, Garmin ensures it tracks every activity, including the extreme ones like surfing, indoor climbing, and more. Outside fitness tracking, the smartwatches can also track your heart rate, sleep, oxygen, and even oxygen saturation.

As exciting as the features that we just mentioned, it’s the solar capability the reason you will want to buy Garmin’s latest products. With continuous exposure to sunlight and setting the watch mode to Battery Saver, the company claims that the Instinct Solar is capable of achieving unlimited battery life. With the Instinct Solar Series, it provides up to 24 days runtime in smartwatch mode and extends over 54 days with sufficient exposure, which is 3 hours per day outside in 50,000 lux conditions. The fēnix 6S Pro Solar, on the other hand, can last up to 9 days indoors and up to 10.5 days with solar exposure, while the fēnix 6 Pro Solar has a longer battery life with up to 14 days and up to 16 days, respectively.
