Samsung has launched the Galaxy Tab A9+ Kids Edition!
The Kids Edition features an 11-inch TFT LCD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1200, an 8MP rear camera, and a 5MP front camera. It runs on the Snapdragon 695 chipset and supports 5G, though the Kids Edition only connects via WiFi.
Its dimensions are 168.7 x 257.1 x 6.9mm, and it weighs 480g. The battery capacity is 7040mAh, matching the standard version, and it supports 15W charging.
Samsung highlights that this tablet is designed to create a secure digital environment for children, allowing them to explore, learn, and create safely. Drew Blackard, VP of Mobile Product Management, mentioned that parents can set up personalized profiles and safety settings through the Samsung Kids app, which includes features for controlling screen time, restricting app access, and monitoring online activities.
The Galaxy Tab A9+ Kids Edition is priced at PHP14,990 for the 8GB + 128GB model. Purchasing includes Kids Edition Box, Crayon Stylus and Samsung flyer and sticker set.
