The LG G4 and Nexus 5X, showed a lot of the advantages and disadvantages of these two LG devices and oh boy, was it a good fight. However, one device came out with bigger goals reached and trumps the other wholeheartedly, its none other than the LG G4. With that in mind, we figured to provide you guys with five reasons as to why the LG G4 is a more bang for your buck than the Nexus 5X.
There is no doubt that the leather back cover of the LG G4 is truly eye catching in many aspects. The leather feel and sight just gives the G4 that extra sophisticated kick into it, which is truly something that can’t be reached by the Nexus 5X. We’re not saying that the Nexus 5X has a bad design, it just felt a bit bland for us, though handling-wise, the Nexus 5x is a-okay in our back, however, the G4’s leather back still tops it off, with its very luxurious feel and very attractive exterior body structure and is removable, which gives the G4 a plus in utility. All in all, the G4’s overall design was a sure win from the start.

The 1440p IPS QHD display of the G4 really was the ultimate nail to the coffin, which solidified its superiority over its brethren, Nexus 5X. The LG G4’s crisp, warm and very aggressive approach got the best of the Nexus 5X’s 1080p FHD display and was simply seen on the display department on our review comparison. The advantage in resolution, plus the more larger screen got the better of the 5X and with that, the G4 took the display department.

We’ve praised the G4 before and how it showcases very warm and aggressive color blending in its outputs and how sometimes the aggression gets the better of the outputs shot from the G4. The G4 was once praised for its excellent shooting capability and color blendings, however, with the introduction of the Z5, which took the title away from the G4, it kinda lost its touch on the market, though despite this, we can’t hide the fact the G4 is absolutely one of the best smartphone camera shooters in the market right, with it very preserves and excellent video and still image shooting capability, which is truly, something to be considered with by photo enthusiasts and selfie lovers.

From our review comparison, the LG G4 showcased supremacy in terms of system, despite relatively running on a more older system. the simplicity of the LG G4’s system gave way for certain applications and activities to run very smooth and without any major drawbacks whatsoever. The Nexus 5X, however was no pushover. With the latter running on Android Marshmallow, the Nexus 5X has a few tricks in its sleeves, though it can be clearly seen in the review comparison, that the 3GB of RAM on the LG G4 took the game, despite the Nexus 5X running on a latest Android version.

Despite both devices carrying a mono speaker, the G4 showcased a more in depth audio outputs, which bested the Nexus 5X in almost all matters, such as volume, bass power and clearness of the vocals. As for the Nexus 5X, its outputs seemed to be more tinny and simply lacks a depth, which kinda bums us out, since we were expecting a bit more from the Nexus 5X, since it was a more newer device, though we were highly disappointed from its performance.
