Fitness trackers have gone a long way these past years. What started as a small device that you can attach to your belt are now full-fledged smartwatches or even bracelets. Although some of them have the same modern design still they offer different types of features.
Fitbit is one of the brands that produce a piece of technology for us to wear around our wrist to track our daily progress. And since it is already acquired by google, they manage to make their products more accessible to a larger audience, and one of googles goal is to make them affordable.

Design & Build
The Fitbit Luxe has a small form factor, it is almost the same size as baller bands. The case is made out of stainless steel, and it is slightly curved along the edges so that it doesn’t look like a block. There is also an extra wrist strap inside the box for replacement. Since there isn’t any button on either side of its frame, everything will be controlled via the 0.76-inch AMOLED panel paired with a 124×206 resolution. it is surrounded by thick bezels and chins, and this may be one of the downsides of the Fitbit Luxe, the small screen.
The Fitbit Luxe comes with four different color combinations, The lunar white with soft gold, the black with graphite, the orchid with platinum, and the more expensive one, the special edition Gorjana Soft Gold. They all have different impacts on consumers’ eyes, but for me personally, I prefer the black one for a more simple and aesthetic design.
On the back of the body, you”ll find the charging pins, another sensor like heart rate, blood pressure, and metrics like the Sp02 tracker. It is also water-resistant up to 50 meters and can be worn while swimming to track workouts.

Functions & Features
The Fitbit Luxe has Bluetooth support but no indication as to what version it is. To pair it to your smartphone you have to download the Fitbit app on the google play store, and from there you set up your Fitbit luxe and can even customize their clock appearances.
Swiping up, you will see the results of your hourly activity, heart, and blood pressure monitor, and the Spo2 level sensor (or the amount of oxygen in your body) and also show you the Spo2 range it recorded while you sleep.
Watch face can also be customized and there are tons of options to choose from.
I’ve used this for my morning walk earlier, and I think the only feature that it lacks is a standalone GPS so it may require you to have your paired smartphone nearby so that you will get an accurate reading.

Battery
As for its battery life, The Fitbit Luxe can hit up to five days as advertised but I was able to get over almost 7 days of use before it needed a charge. Of course, battery life will still rely on how often you use the Fitbit Luxe. As for its charging, it only took us about 2 hours to fully juice up the Fitbit Luxe, so in just 1 and a half hours you can charge it up almost at 85 percent.

Verdict
Overall the Fitbit Luxe can contribute to your outfit option since it looks nice, clean, and small which makes it look like a bracelet. For us, the display is one of the downsides of this fitness tracker, since it is very small and often times it is hard to navigate without its function buttons around its frame. So for the price of Php 8,490, you will get a compact yet low profile fitness tracker that can do so much for your daily needs.
