DOST-PAGASA has launched the PAGASA National Hydro-Meteorological Observing Network (PANaHON) Mobile Application.
PANaHON is a platform that provides access to weather and hydrometeorological information.
The app features an interactive map with near real-time weather data, along with notifications for tropical cyclone bulletins, thunderstorm warnings, heavy rainfall alerts, and flood advisories.
It also provides hourly forecasts and a five-day weather outlook based on users’ selected locations.
With this app, DOST-PAGASA aims to improve access to weather information and help communities make informed decisions during severe weather events.
The agency also reminded the public to stay updated through official PAGASA advisories and use available tools to prepare for possible weather-related risks.
The PANaHON app is now available for download on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
