DJI announces their new pocket gimbal camera, the Osmo Pocket 4.

As mentioned, the Osmo Pocket 4 is a new handheld camera with a built-in gimbal.

It features a 2.0-inch touchscreen with a resolution of 556 × 314 and a brightness of up to 1000 nits. It also includes three microphones for audio recording.

For storage, the camera supports microSD cards up to 1 TB and comes with 107 GB of built-in storage. Recommended cards include models from Lexar and Kingston with U3, A2, and V30 ratings.

The integrated gimbal supports wide movement ranges, including pan from -235° to 58°, tilt from -120° to 70°, and roll from -45° to 45°. It has a maximum controllable speed of 180° per second and an angular vibration range of ±0.005°, aimed at maintaining stable footage.

The camera uses a 1-inch CMOS sensor paired with a 20 mm equivalent lens and f/2.0 aperture. It supports ISO ranges up to 12,800 for standard shooting and up to 25,600 in low-light video mode.

Photo resolution reaches up to 7680 × 4320 in 16:9 format, with support for JPEG and DNG formats. Video recording includes 4K at up to 60 fps, 3K vertical video, and 1080p options. Slow-motion recording goes up to 4K at 240 fps and 1080p at 240 fps.

Additional shooting modes include hyperlapse, timelapse, and motionlapse, with adjustable intervals and durations. Low-light video recording is available in 4K and 1080p at up to 30 fps.

The device supports digital zoom up to 4× for video and livestreaming, depending on resolution. Maximum video bitrate is 180 Mbps, with files saved in MP4 (HEVC) format.

Battery capacity is 1545 mAh, rated for up to 240 minutes of operation under test conditions. Charging reaches 80% in 18 minutes and a full charge in 32 minutes using a 65W charger.

Connectivity features include Wi-Fi 6 support and Bluetooth 5.4. The device operates within a temperature range of 0°C to 40°C.

DJI Osmo Pocket 4 Price and Availability

The DJI Osmo Pocket 4 comes in two bundle options in the Philippines.

The Standard Combo, priced at PHP28,990, includes the Osmo Pocket 4, a USB-C to USB-C PD cable, wrist strap, carrying pouch, handle, and gimbal clamp.

The Creator Combo, priced at PHP37,490, includes everything in the Standard Combo, plus extra accessories like a DJI Mic 3 transmitter, magnetic clip, magnetic charging cable, windscreens, a wide-angle lens, a mini tripod, fill light, and a larger carrying bag.
