It was reported that this occurred during the most intense phase of typhoon Paeng, preventing people trapped in their homes from contacting for assistance or being rescued.
This is not the first time DITO users have complained about connectivity issues. Multiple DITO users have swarmed DownDetector by Ookla with comments about their areas having slow to no internet connection.
