Converge ICT Solutions Inc. has announced a nationwide speed boost for its FiberX internet plans to support families amid the ongoing fuel crisis and its impact on household costs and limited mobility.

Converge is currently offering a temporary 50Mbps speed boost accross all its FiberX plans for the entire month of April. This ongoing upgrade, which went live at the start of the month, is available to both new and existing subscribers until April 30, 2026.
This action comes in response to rising fuel costs, which continue to strain household budgets and force more Filipinos to work, study, and obtain basic services from home.
“This initiative aims to empower customers to stay productive, connected, and informed as more Filipinos choose — or are compelled — to stay at home,” said Dennis Anthony Uy, CEO and co-founder of Converge.
This initiative serves as a direct response to government calls for private sector support amid rising oil prices, as Converge chooses to upgrade subscriber speeds for free to make remote work and study more accessible.
Uy added that by increasing internet speeds, the company is ensuring customers can work, study, and manage businesses without interruption. He emphasized that these upgrades provide the technical foundation for clearer video calls, quicker downloads, and a better overall streaming experience.
Additionally, the speed boost also makes it easier for customers to access government services, telehealth services, e-commerce platforms, and digital banking.
This move from Converge acts as a support system that keeps every Filipino connected, particularly during challenging social and economic times.
