A recent problem with OpenAI’s ChatGPT led people to become curious about Google’s AI. On June 4th, searches for Google’s Gemini shot up by almost 60%, according to info from QR Code Generator. This happened when ChatGPT stopped working.
The problem with ChatGPT started around 8:00 AM London time on June 4th. People started searching for “ChatGPT down” when they realized it wasn’t working.
Interestingly, when ChatGPT had issues, more people started searching for “Gemini” too. Other searches, like “Microsoft Copilot” and “ChatGPT Alternative“, also went up. But Google’s AI was the most popular choice. Marc Porcar, who runs QR Code Generator, thinks this shows that it is seen as a good alternative to ChatGPT.
ChatGPT has a lot of users all over the world. But Google’s AI got a chance to shine when ChatGPT had a problem. So, will Gemini become a big competitor to ChatGPT in the future?
