Samsung Launches Galaxy Z TriFold

Samsung has officially introduced the Galaxy Z TriFold, a new foldable device that features a three-part design instead of the traditional book-style hinge.

When fully opened, the Galaxy Z TriFold has a 10-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 2160 × 1584 resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate and up to 1600 nits brightness. Also, up to three apps can run side-by-side on the large inner display.

The cover display measures 6.5 inches with Full HD+ resolution and reaches up to 2600 nits, protected by Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2.

It features a triple rear camera system comprising a 200 MP main camera, a 12 MP ultrawide lens, and a 10 MP 3× telephoto lens. Both the inner and outer screens include 10 MP selfie cameras.

Inside, the phone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chipset with 16 GB RAM and either 512 GB or 1 TB of storage.

The device also carries a 5600 mAh battery, split across three sections, supports 45W wired charging and 15W wireless charging.

Out of the box, the device runs Android 16 with One UI 8 and debuts a standalone Samsung DeX, allowing users to activate a desktop-style interface directly from the quick panel.

Sasmung Galaxy Z TriFold Price and Availability

The Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold will go on sale on December 12 in South Korea for KRW 3,590,400 (approx. PHP143,499).

It will also roll out to China, Taiwan, Singapore, and the UAE later in December, with a U.S. release planned for the first quarter of 2026.
