Filipinos Can Now Link GCash to Google Pay

GCash to Google Pay

Heads up! GCash users can now link their accounts to Google Pay, allowing them to use GCash as a payment method for supported Google services.

How to Link GCash to Google Pay?

To connect Google Pay with your GCash wallet, open the GCash app. Head over to your profile settings and look for the section that lists all accounts you can link. Google Pay should appear there if the feature is already rolled out to you.

Once you select Google Pay, the app will guide you through a quick identity check.

After that, GCash will hand you over to Google Pay, where you’ll be asked to add GCash to your Wallet and agree to Google’s terms.

Google will verify if your account is eligible, and once everything checks out, you can confirm the setup.

Before you’re sent back to GCash, Google may ask if you want Google Pay to be your default payment method, you can skip that if you prefer.

When you return to GCash, you’ll see a confirmation letting you know that the link is successful and ready to use.

The feature is being rolled out gradually and is available only to fully verified users aged 18 and above with the latest version of the GCash app. It is not supported for GCash Jr. or for users registered overseas.
