A redditor was able to get his hands on a Blackberry‘s upcoming device only known as the Blackberry Priv. The redditor, who goes by the name of “imsorandom” provided photos and information on what are the features of the upcoming Blackberry device. Find out more on what this new Blackberry is all about.
By the looks of the provided images and by the redditors own given opinion, the Priv seems to be much more thinner than the Note 5, that the redditor currently possesses, which should be at 7.6mm thickness, for the weight, the redditor quoted that the Priv was heavier than the Note 5 (namely, heavier than a 171g Note 5) which is quite surprising. Rumors have been spreading around the webspace that the BB’s Priv might show off a 5.4-inch display, backed up with a possible 1440p QHD display, though this is yet to be confirmed.
The Priv is a slider-type device, that looks like it can deliver a smooth sliding experience, though, technically, we’ve all probably forgot, how it feels like to slide a slider phone, since, we mainly use touchpad smartphones now. The device is said to carry a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808, backed up by 1.8GHz dual-core Cortex-A57 and a quad-core 1.44GHz Cortex-A53, which also carries an Adreno 418 GPU. Memory is said to carry up 3GB RAM capacity, which is supported by 32GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot expandability of 128GB.
For the Priv’s camera, it is said to carry a 18MP main shooter with OIS and dual-tone flash feature, and a 5MP selfie shooter. The latter is also said to run on an Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. There aren’t any news yet in regards to the Priv’s launching and pricing, but rest assured, we’ll keep you guys updated on the recent updates on Blackberry’s new device, the Blackberry Priv.
