The Sony Xperia Z5 trio is one of the highlight show makers of the 2015 smartphone lineup. They delivered really amazing performances in the camera category, as well as in the performance category. Though, the littlest of the three, the Xperia Z5 Compact become one of our personal favourites. Our reason? well because it’s rather cute. Its toyish and petite size hides the fact that it is quite a capable shooter, which is quite interesting. Sony’s steady shot feature also played a huge role in how the Z5 trio’s camera performance was top-notch. The steady shot feature minimizes movement and shakes, which makes every shot, as accurate as possible. We’ve already had our time with the Nokia Lumia 1020 and we were quite surprised with it. The Nokia Lumia 1020 simply was ahead of its time and despite having a 41MP powerhouse rear shooter, the phone itself simply can’t keep up, due to its limited software and hardware. Recently, Huawei released a new 5-2-incher phone, in the form of the Huawei P9. This device carries a pretty intriguing camera and when i mean intriguing, i mean dual rear camera shooters. The Huawei P9 has a 12MP dual camera shooter, backed up by a phase detection autofocus feature. Take note, these shooters are not ordinary, these are Leica optics lens-equipped shooters, which in doubt is top-notch on its own. These dual shooters are truly impressive in their own right and should be considered, when in the sight of a more recent beastly camera phone.

Apple’s 2015 flagship, the iPhone 6s where we saw a lot of success, not only due to its brand and moniker but also to its overall performance. The iPhone 6s is no stranger to excellent camera shooting, despite looking a bit dull in paper. It delivered pretty satisfactorily outputs as well as even beating other top-notch phones in the market today. Apple looks to be as simple as possible when delivering these iPhones, but they also seem to focus on the quality and capability of their phones as well.

Sony’s upcoming new X-series have a lot of potential, but some criticize Sony for dropping off some of its other well-known lineups, which people have already known and loved. Nevertheless, two upcoming Xperia X-series handsets are already starting to break records and make a name for themselves, despite not exactly arriving yet, there none other than the Xperia X and Xperia X Performance handsets. Both are pretty much the same, specs-wise, with the X Performance carrying a more premium Snapdragon 820 chip, while the Xperia X has a Snapdragon 650 chip. Nevertheless, their main attraction lies on their cameras. Right now, people are hailing it as one of the best upcoming camera phones in the selfie category, which is alone, a very definitive trait.
