ASUS Zenfone AR powered by Google’s Tango
Qualcomm unofficially unveiled the Asus Zenfone AR, ‘the world’s first Tango-enabled smartphone to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor‘ and ‘world’s first mobile device to be both Tango-enable and Daydream ready.’
AR – Augmented Reality
The very first Google Tango smartphone is Lenovo’s Phab 2 Pro which is powered by a Snapdragon 653 and does not come with Daydream support. Project Tango or Tango is used to enable support for AR compatible apps.
Following the publishing is Evan Blass’ post on Twitter that shows the press renders of the Asus Zenfone AR.
