ASUS Zenfone 8 and 8 Flip to Arrive this May for ₱34,995 and ₱39,995

ASUS is officially BACK! After announcing the Zenfone 8 Series globally, the pioneer of flipping cameras on smartphones is back in the Philippines. This May, the Zenfone 8 8/128GB will become available for ₱34,995 while ₱39,995 for the 16/256GB. Meanwhile, Zenfone 8 Flip with 8/256GB will become available in June for ₱39,995.

As for the Zenfone 8, it’s ASUS’s effort to re-establish compact phones in the market. Albeit smaller, it has a faster 5.9″ Super AMOLED display than the Flip, thanks to the 120Hz refresh rate. It’s also capable of reaching up to 1100 nits. 

Zenfone 8 comes equipped with Snapdragon 888 SoC, alongside a 4000mAh battery with 30W fast charging. There are two cameras on the back — a 64MP Sony main sensor with OIS and a 12MP ultrawide. A 12MP selfie commands the front. Unlike the Flip, Zenfone 8 is missing an SD card slot but features a 3.55mm jack and IP68 water and dust resistance.
