As ASUS delayed the launch of the Zenfone 4 by several months in 2017. According to ASUS CEO Jerry Shen, the Zenfone 5 will be unveiled as early as March this year. However, it was unclear if the company will unveil the said device at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018 in Barcelona.
The Zenfone 5 has been recently certified in Russia and the Lite variant will probably be a midrange handset with 6-inch display and will be powered by a Qualcomm chipset. The certification above has revealed that the model number of ZC600KL where “KL” confirms that it would be fueled by Snapdragon chipset and it carries support for LTE connectivity.
Also, the number 60 on the model number suggests that it would be packed with a 6-inch display. Though, there is no confirmation on whether it will be supporting an aspect ratio of 18:9.
