Asus Zenfone 3 series is now official in the Philippines with the 4GB RAM Zenfone 3 5.2-inch model or ZE520KL getting a P16,995 official price. The Zenfone 3 ZE552KL or 5.5-inch variant retails for P18,995 pesos. Both models with be available this month.
The official SRP surprises many as Asus steps up to the higher bracket of the mid-range Android category–much on the line of Zenfone 2 Deluxe last year. We also expected this partly due to the premium build and faster hardware of the new Zenfone 3.

Im confused. I thought the 4GB RAM was only for the 5.5 inch zenfone 3?

Yes, but Asus revealed variations. At least the 3GB/32GB model ZE520KL is already available here in the Philippines thru Online, we just hope it will land in India too.

This is basically a Suicidal decision for Asus. What is going in their heads? They must be thinking that they’re on par with the likes of Apple and Samsung, and even think that Samsung won’t price it like that if they owned the Asus Zenfone 3 Line-up. Asus must be taking the same drugs that Sony takes.
