Asus fails to update Zenfone 2, Zoom and Selfie get Marshmallow OS

Android 6.0 Marshmallow Update for Zenfone 2, Zoom, Selfie

The Android 6.0 Marshmallow updates for Asus Zenfone Zoom and Zenfone Selfie are officially released via over-the-air (OTA) update for all international versions including the Philippines. However, Asus failed on its promised Q2 release of Marshmallow upgrade for the rest of the Zenfone 2 including the Zenfone 2 Deluxe, ZE550ML with 2GB RAM, and ZE551ML with 4GB RAM.

So far the only devices that received the updated are the Asus Zenfone 2 Laser, Zenfone Max, Zenfone Zoom, and Zenfone Selfie–all are international variants and includes those in the Philippines.
