ASUS Launches ExpertBook B5 Series in the Philippines

Aside from the ExpertBook P-Series, ASUS has announced the availability of its new ExpertBook B5 series (B5405/B5605) laptops in the Philippines.

The ExpertBook B5 series in the 14-inch and 16-inch feature up to a 2.5K resolution with a 144Hz refresh rate. It is also built with a lightweight all-metal chassis, which is tested to MIL-STD-810H durability standards.

Inside, the ExpertBook B5 is powered by up to Intel Core Ultra processors (Series 2) with Intel vPro and built-in Intel Arc graphics paired with up to 64GB of memory, dual SSDs with RAID support.

It features a dedicated NPU for AI tasks, offering up to 99 total-platform TOPS to support multitasking, content creation, and video conferencing.

ASUS’ AI ExpertMeet tool enhances meetings with on-device noise cancellation, camera optimization, live transcription, and translation.

Security is managed by ASUS ExpertGuardian, which provides multi-factor authentication, TPM 2.0 support, cloud recovery, and BIOS self-recovery. Additional protections include biometric login, smart card reader options, USB access control, and five years of security updates.

For connectivity, the laptops offer two Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports, HDMI 2.1, USB-A, RJ45, a microSD slot, and optional smart card and nano SIM slots. Wireless support includes Wi-Fi 6 or Wi-Fi 7, depending on configuration.

ASUS also highlights sustainability with a Digital Product Passport (DPP), giving users access to lifecycle and environmental data through a QR code.
