8GB RAM!
Comparing to Lenovo Phab 2 Pro 6.4-inch display, the first Google Tango phone, the size of the Zenfone AR is smaller at 5.7-inch QHD Super AMOLED display but images will be crisper due to 515ppi count. Under the hood will be a whopping 8GB RAM, this is to make sure that VR and AR application will run smoothly and Snapdragon 821 SoC will be utilized in order to power this already impressive smartphone.
Daydream VR Support
On the software side, it will be coming with the latest Android Nougat out of the box. So there’s that. You will be able to access more than 30 apps specifically used for Google Tango while using a 23MP rear camera alongside with motion tracking and depth-sensing sensors. In order to fully enjoy VR experience, support for DTS Virtual Surround Sound is available on the phone for immersive audio quality.
So far this is what we got but Asus is planning to release Zenfone AR around second quarter of 2017.
