Apple recently introduced a new AI-powered tool called “Clean Up” at the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in June.
This feature is aimed at enhancing photo editing capabilities by allowing users to remove unwanted objects, heal blemishes, and pixelate faces for privacy protection.
While the tool shows promise, it is still in the beta phase and can be unstable, making it less reliable for daily use.
At present, the “Clean Up” feature is accessible only on iPhone 15 Pro models and devices powered by M-series chips, including Macs and iPads.
Apple has not announced a specific date for the public release, but the company is expected to refine and stabilize the tool before it becomes widely available.
Apple Clean Up Tool Availability
The new AI tool is currently available in Developer Beta 3 of iOS 18.1, iPadOS 18.1, and macOS 15.1 Sequoia integrated into the Photos app.
