Apple is reportedly preparing two new MacBook models for launch this year.
According to reports, these two are an updated MacBook Pro with the M6 chip and a new MacBook Ultra.
The M6 MacBook Pro is expected to succeed the current M5 model. It is not expected to receive a major design change, but it could feature Apple’s first 2nm-based Mac chip, which may bring improvements in performance and efficiency.
Meanwhile, the rumored MacBook Ultra is expected to feature a new design that is thinner and lighter than the current MacBook Pro. It could also introduce an OLED display, touchscreen, Dynamic Island, and cellular connectivity.
Unlike the M6 MacBook Pro, the MacBook Ultra is reportedly expected to use M5 Pro and M5 Max chips.
Apple has yet to confirm either model. Based on previous Mac launches, both could arrive around late October, although the exact launch date remains unconfirmed.
