According to a report from an analyst at KGI Securities, Apple will be changing the lineup of its iPhone in 2017. The report shows the changes on screen sizes, displays, and features of the camera.
The two 5.5-inch variants will maintain the dual-camera setup found on the iPhone 7 Plus and will be using an OLED panel and LCD panel. The 4.7-inch variant is expected to have a single camera with an LCD panel.
Equipping the iPhone 7 with OLED display might yield a higher price tag for consumers. Though still undecided whether which OLED display to use, Sharp’s CEO mentioned that Apple is likely to use its OLED panels.
In addition to the report, KGI predicted that iPhone 8 design will go back to an all-glass design just like the iPhone 4 version.
