Rumors are making the round online that Apple will release three different iPhones in the second half of 2015.
Two of the three iPhones will somewhat be successors to iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, dubbed as iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus. And the third is a 4-inch device currently being named as iPhone 6C – a successor to the infamous C series of Apple.
Accordingly, all the handsets will sport LTPS panels with 6S models to be supplied by Japan Display and LG, while Sharp for the 6C.
It was also mentioned that all the devices would sport a Corning Gorilla Glass, NFC and fingerprint scanning technology with 6S series to use A9 chips and the 6C with A8 chips.
Wistron will manufacture the iPhone 6C while Foxconn Electronics (Hon Hai Precision Industry) together with Pegatron will assemble S6 series.
