Apple Pauses iOS and iPadOS 17.3 Beta 2 Over Bug Issue

Apple swiftly pulled the iOS 17.3 beta 2 update after users reported iPhones entering an endless “boot loop.” The release, initially rolled out on Tuesday, was later marked as “withdrawn temporarily” in the release notes by Friday.

Users who adopted the latest iOS 17.3 version encountered a frustrating issue where their iPhones kept restarting but never completed the update. Notably, the iPadOS 17.3 beta faced a similar fate, disappearing from the beta options in Software Updates.

It’s worth noting that Apple strongly recommends you to ‘please back up your iPhone before you install this update‘ Additionally, the reported boot loops are not affecting everyone.

For those already stuck in the loop, you may revert to the previous version through a factory reset or entering Recovery Mode, guiding you back to the latest backup.

Stay tuned for the revamped and bug-free version of iOS 17.3, expected to hit the scene shortly.
