Apple is reportedly working with Google and Nvidia to power a new AI-based version of Siri that could debut in September.
According to a report, Apple plans to use a licensed version of Google’s Gemini AI model to handle some Siri requests.
These queries may be processed through Google’s cloud infrastructure instead of running entirely on Apple devices or Apple-operated servers.
The report also says that Google’s data centers will use Nvidia’s Blackwell B200 chips for the service.

The chips include confidential computing technology, which encrypts data while it is being processed to help protect user information.
The move marks a notable shift for Apple, which has traditionally relied on its own technologies and services. By partnering with Google and Nvidia, the company could accelerate the rollout of more advanced AI features for Siri.
The first version of the upgraded Siri is expected to be introduced in September.
