Apple had just introduced the major makeover in the iPhone series… the iPhone X. The X is noted to be pronounced as “Ten” and is claimed to be the “biggest leap forward” since the original iPhone.
The iPhone X’ screen display was described to be a 5.8″ Super Retina display. It will sport a glass and stainless steel design and is water/dust resistant. The side button is dedicated for Siri.
Regarding what’s new, it’s imminent that the iPhone X ditched the home button and replaced it with a just tap movement to unlock the device. Gone is the Touch ID as iOS users will say Hello to Face ID. The Face ID is used for Apple Pay and could detect the user’s face amid obstructions like hats or glasses. That is, except for masks and photos.
Moving on, the iPhone X camera is a dual setup of 12MP as well. This time, the aperture consists of dual OIS and f/1.8, and f/2.4 aperture. Yet, the X’s camera offers faster telephoto lens compared to the iPhone 8 Plus. Its battery power boasts 2 hours longer than the iPhone 7.
About the price, the iPhone X 64GB starts at $999 (PHP 49,950). Pre-order starts on October 27 and will be released on November 3. Stay tuned as we update you on its Philippines’ release and prices.
