
After the release of the Galaxy Note 8, people are waiting for the iPhone 8. That said, the long wait is over as Apple’s iPhone 8 and 8 Plus launches today with the iPhone X.
The released iPhone 8 and 8 Plus doesn’t bring that much surprise. Both look similar to the previous iPhone 7 models, but this time, the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus has a glass front and back design. That said, the base model sports a 4.7 inch while the Plus model has a 5.5inch True Tone display.
On board is a 25 percent and 70 percent faster chipset compared to the previous one used. The A11 bionic chipset of the two is paired with a new Apple-designed GPU. The speakers were also said to be 27 percent louder than its predecessors. Aside from that, the camera of the iPhone 8 was noted to be only equipped with a 12MP single lens with OIS while the Plus model has a 12MP dual lens setup.
Furthermore, the iPhone 8 Plus’ dual setup consists of a f/1.8 and f/2.8 aperture capable of “Portrait Lighting” and is AR calibrated. Both the smartphones are also announced to support Qi wireless charging.
The iPhone 8 64GB starts at $699 (PHP 34,950) while the Plus model will cost $799 (PHP 39,950). Pre-orders will start on September 15 as it will start to be released on September 22. Apple’s iOS 11 was also said to roll out on September 19.
