It has been revealed anonymously from a trusted source that this year’s Apple’s WWDC, also known as its Worldwide Developer Conference, will be held at McEnery Convention Center in San Jose and is expected to fall between June 4 and 8. The reason for this speculation is the fact that Apple has been holding its WWDC event every June in the previous years.
The Worldwide Developer Conference is a huge event for Apple for this is where they may introduce the upcoming iOS 12 along with the newer edition of watchOS, tvOS and macOS 10.14. There are also rumors circulating that a new version of the iPad Pro may be unleashed during the WWDC 2018 and is also hypothesized to have the same design as the iPhone X, causing multiple people to call it the iPad X. The new model is said to contain TrueDepth Camera and Face ID.
Along with the iOS 12 and iPad X, various reports have also mentioned that the iPhone SE 2 may also get released during the yearly conference. The upcoming device may feature wireless charging as well as have some similarities with the iPhone 7.
Approximately 5,000 developers and 1,000 engineers participated in the WWDC 2017. In lieu of this, this year’s WWDC is expected to have more audience making it difficult for a lot of people to attend the conference. Nevertheless, Apple will presumably provide a live stream of WWDC 2018’s key events as well as share videos of developer sessions on its WWDC website, and through the WWDC app.
