While Google is busy wrapping up Android Q beta 3 release, Realme is preparing Android Pie beta for its last year’s devices. The beta release of Pie will start next week, May 15th, and continues to do so until June 15th.

Realme Android Pie Schedule
In a Realme Community FAQ Weekly, the company answered most questions from its fanbase. The highlight was the upcoming beta testing for the Android Pie and ColorOS 6 update.
Realme 2 Pro is slated to receive Android Pie (beta) on May 15th, Realme 1 and U1 are scheduled for June 5th, and Realme 2 and C1 are listed for June 15th. The company noted that “the transition from beta to final will be in phased manner, eg. within 15 to 20 days.”

ColorOS 6, Realme 3 Pro camera fix
The Realme 3 Pro’s Nightscape and Chrome Boost features have an upcoming fix relating to excessive skin tone darkening.
As for its latest ColorOS 6, Google’s Digital Wellbeing feature is said to arrive via an OTA, as well as Hyper Boost 2.0 for older devices.
Realme was cited that it still doesn’t have a firm timeline yet for Android Q, regardless of the model. But on a brighter side, the company is working on a stock recovery tool for boot loops when flashing custom ROMs.
