Like smartphones, smartwatches are plagued with mediocre battery life. However, that changes with the recently announced Amazfit GTR. Available in 42mm and 47mm, the company claims more than 2 months of battery life. As for their prices, the former starts at CNY 800 ~P6k while the latter begins at CNY 1,000 ~P7.5k.

Amazfit GTR 42mm and 47mm Officially Revealed
With both models sporting AMOLED touchscreens, each offers different styles. The 47mm model is made for the sophisticated, complementing different styles of the user. While the 42mm is for the minimalist that wants a very light smartwatch at 25.5g grams. Of course, the build is made waterproof. While you can take it for a swim with you, it’s not made for scuba diving or similar high-speed water activities.
Here, you will find your typical smartwatch functionalities like GPS, notifications, music, reminders, clock, compass, weather, and more. Amazfit is bragging its 12 sport modes — working out indoors to mountaineering and swimming.
Where the GTR shines, however, is battery life. For the 47mm, it can go up to 74 days of basic use. With regular use lasting up to 24 days. As for the 42mm, it can go up to 34 days in basic mode and 12 days in normal usage.
The Amazfit GTR 42mm and 47mm are available in several variants:
