Recently, it was revealed that Xiaomi is developing another series of Redmi smartphone. It was spotted on TENAA, a Chinese certification agency, earlier this week and gave us a peek at the smartphone and its key specs.
Now, the alleged Xiaomi Redmi S2 has been surfacing the internet that hints its launch. The reason behind this is the handset was seen on the 3C (Compulsory Certification of China)
Though this does not reveal information about the said smartphone, however recent reports say that it will come with a similar design as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5.
Xiaomi Redmi S2 is expected to feature a 5.99-inch with 18:9 display and a resolution of 1,440 x 720 pixels. It is powered by 2.0GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC with RAM and internal storage variants of 2GB RAM /4GB RAM /6GB RAM and 16GB/32GB/64GB.
For the camera department, it was speculated to come with dual camera setup 12MP + 8MP and a 16MP front camera. Color variants are expected to be black, gold, pink, red, rose gold, silver, and white.
Date of launch and pricing of Xiaomi Redmi S2 is not yet disclosed.
