Because of its growing relationship with Alipay+, you can now use GCash in some European countries.
As GCash’s relationship with Alipay+ gets stronger, e-wallet users can now use their accounts in places like the UK, Germany, France, and Italy.

The new cross-border payment service is part of the GCash Global Pay service. Its goal is to give users an easy and quick way to pay for things while they are traveling abroad by using the e-wallet service. There are no extra fees and the foreign exchange rates are updated in real time.
If you have already turned on GCash Overseas, you can now use your e-wallet at these key businesses in Europe that have been added to the service:

- Harrods UK
- Harvey Nichols UK
- itTaxi Italy
- IVS Group Italy
- Liberty London UK
- Müller Germany
- Printemps France
To use GCash in these places, look for the Alipay+ sign, open your GCash account, and pay using QR or PayQR.
In a statement, GCash President and CEO Martha Sazon said that they want to make sure that their users can use their GCash wallets totally not just in their own country but “anywhere in the world.”
This year, the company also wants to help more businesses with their service needs.
