Vivo Philippines just launched Vivo Y31, just in time for Valentine’s Day. So if you’re looking for a beautiful phone as a gift to your other half, you may want to take a look at this new device. The Y31 is available in blue and black colors, with a design reminiscent of the company’s top model X50 Pro. As of this writing, it’s already up for purchase on Vivo’s website with a price of Php12,999. For that price, here’s what you’re getting.
At the core of Vivo Y31 is the Snapdragon 662 chipset; it’s already outdated at this point, but it’s just one of the things you have to deal with if you want a nice-looking phone. Another thing to point out is the use of a 48MP main camera instead of 64MP, however, Vivo’s software should be able to compensate for the lack of new hardware. The other two lenses are a pair of 2MP for macro and depth purposes. Residing in the teardrop notch is a 16MP selfie camera.
Vivo Y31 sports a 6.58″ IPS LCD with FHD+ resolution already for a crispy video and photo viewing experience. Despite the conservative CPU and GPU combo, Vivo was generous enough to provide 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. And yes, there’s a MicroSD slot for expansion. The battery is rated 5000mAh and supports 18W fast charging via USB-C. Vivo claims the Y31 can go up to 70% in just 67 minutes.
Depending on your chosen retailer, Vivo Y31 comes with free premium Bluetooth earphones and a 10000mAh power bank.
