Apple has failed to impress mobile gamers with the downgrade of iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro’s battery life. According to sources, playing 3D games on either device has been a terrible experience because the battery life has only reached a maximum of three hours and one minute before it has completely run out of juice.
Battery tests have been done to compare iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro to Android flagship models and PhoneArena’s 3D Gaming Battery Test Results showed how inferior the Apple iPhone 12 series performed while playing 3D mobile games.
The games tested included Minecraft and Call of Duty Mobile, according to the source.
Now, if you are wondering about the battery capacities of Apple’s latest flagship phones, here is a list.
What complicates matters further is the fact that the iPhone 12 Series have higher and bigger resolutions that really takes a toll on battery life compared to last years’ models.
The only redeeming factor here is the new A14 Bionic chip, which is promoted to have much-improved power efficiency owing to the 5 nm process. And using these models on 5G networks will reduce the numbers by another 20%. So, for now, users and mobile gamers will have to make do with the reduced battery life in exchange for advanced hardware.
