Reno4 is finally here in the Philippines, and it has a suggested retail price of P18,990. You can pre-order OPPO’s newest mid-range phone starting August 15 until 21 in all OPPO concept and dealer stores. It will also go up for sale on Lazada and Shopee on August 22. It seems like there was confusion when we teased the Reno4 a few days ago. Instead of the 5G variant, OPPO Philippines introduced the 4G model, which features the Snapdragon 720G. Aside from the omission of Snapdragon 765G and 5G modem, what else is the difference?
For the cameras, you have more. Reno4 4G features 48MP main camera with 8MP ultrawide, 2MP macro, and 2MP depth lenses. The pill-shaped cutout, however, houses a single 32MP selfie camera. Another feature that old-timers will appreciate is the presence of an audio jack. Though the battery is still rated 4015mAh, we regret to inform you that the charging rate is up to 30W only, not 65W. On the bright side, 30W is plenty fast, still.
Enough about the specs. What else does the Reno4 have to offer? For starters, the stock camera app is feature-packed. OPPO brings AI Color Portrait to photos and videos, wherein it isolates the subject in color and focus. Night Flare Portrait lets you creatively standout with the dazzling bokeh effect, while 960fps Smart Slow-Motion can capture movements really, really slow. And thanks to Ultra Steady mode 3.0, video recording won’t be that shaky as before.
