Huawei sub-brand just announced the Honor 9A with a price of €149.90(~P8k). The said smartphone will be available for pre-orders via Hihonor, Amazon, and other retailers starting from July 1st and will also be available for selected Asian markets.
The Honor 9A is seen with a 6.3-inch HD+ display having a teardrop notch for its 8MP selfie camera. At the back, a rear-fingerprint scanner can be seen along with its triple camera setup that is made up of 13MP wide, 5MP ultrawide, and 2MP depth. Powering the device is a Mediatek Helio P22 chipset. As for storage, buyers will get 3GB RAM accompanied by a 64GB internal storage that allows storage expansion via a microSD card. The device also offers a 5000mAh battery that still makes use of a MicroUSB cable, unfortunately.

They need to find a way to get better mediatek chipsets than P22 or P35, its competitors (sub brands Redmi and Realme are using Helio G series)and offering cheaper prices. For Honor to compete, they need to step up.
