Xiaomi just launched the Mi Notebook Pro 15 2020 in China and it’s one heck of a machine for an ultraportable laptop. It has a starting price of CNY 5999(~P43k) for the Core i5, 8GB RAM, 512GB, and MX350 model, while the more expensive model at CNY 6999(~P50k) comes with Core i7, 16GB RAM, 1TB storage and MX350 variant. The Mi Notebook Pro 2020 is already available for purchase but the question remains whether it’ll be available to other markets as well.
Right off the bat, Xiaomi’s new thin and light laptop flaunts a 15.6-inch Full HD display that offers a 178-degree wide viewing angle. On the touchpad, you will find a fingerprint scanner on the upper right, which makes logging in much less of a hassle. It also features a full-sized backlit keyboard and a 1MP HD webcam. Under the hood is a 60Wh battery that is capable of fast charging up to 50% in just 40 minutes. The ports, on the other hand, consist of an audio jack, 1x HDMI, 2x USB 3.1, 2x USB Type-C, and a 3-in-1 card reader. For the audio, it is built with two 2.5W speakers with Harman Audio and supports Dolby AudioTM Premium.
