
Microsoft has just unveiled the Surface Go 2 featuring a slightly bigger display, longer battery life, and a new Intel 8th-Gen CPU that provides up to 64% performance vs the original Surface Go. However, the base model with Intel Pentium Gold CPU still has a price of $399.99(~P20K) while the new Core m3 CPU costs $629(~P31.8K). The cheaper variant comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage while the new variant offers twice the RAM and storage. You can also get the same configuration but with the lower-end CPU for $549(~P27.7K). As usual, the Surface Go Type Cover is sold separately for $99(~P5K).
LTE models of the Surface Go 2 will also be available at higher price tags. The Core m3 model will set you back at $729(~P36.8K) while the business model will have 256GB storage and LTE for $879(~P44.4K). Surface Go 2 will become available starting May 12 in the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, Austria, UK, Ireland, France, Switzerland, Belgium, Netherlands, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Poland, and Japan.
