OPPO Reno3 Pro Officially Launches
The fourth phone from the Reno3 series is now official. Meet the Reno3 Pro. The premium mid-range handset from OPPO is significantly different compared to the Reno3 Pro 5G. This non-5G variant features Helio P95 chipset and 44MP dual-selfie camera for a starting price of INR 29,990(~P21K) for the 8GB/128GB model. The 256GB version is available for INR 32,990(~P23K). Sale via Flipkart and Amazon India starts on March 6th. No word yet regarding the global release.
Available in Aurora Blue, Midnight Black, and Sky White colors, Reno3 Pro is a 6.4″ phone with FHD+ Super AMOLED screen. The pill-shaped cutout houses two selfie cameras — one is a 44MP sensor with the other being a 2MP portrait sensor. For that feature, it’s missing out on the 90Hz refresh rate.
As for the main cameras, there are four sensors on the back with the 64MP f1.8 being the headline. The 8MP ultrawide can shoot macro shots which means the 2MP sensor is a monochrome type, while the 13MP telephoto can offer up to 2x optical zoom, 5x hybrid zoom, and up to 20x digital zoom. OPPO is also including Ultra Stead Video 2.0 which uses EIS for stabilized footage.Â
Reno3 Pro already runs on ColorOS 7 based on Android 10. It even includes an under-display fingerprint scanner, audio jack, Dolby Atmos with Hi-res Audio support, and a shared microSD slot for storage expansion. While we don’t have any idea yet when the Reno3 series will launch in the country, it’s almost sure that it’ll arrive given the success of the Reno and Reno2 series.Â
