After months of speculation, Motorola seems to be preparing an official invite for its upcoming Razr phone. The iconic (and flipping) Motorola Razr from 12 years ago is getting rejuvenated but with folding display instead. Given the company is reviving a popular legacy phone that will come with a first-gen folding screen and mid-range specs, the expected $1500USD price (~P77k) is, somewhat, enigmatic.
Judging by the photo, the overall design looks nearly entirely the old Razr device. The screen is extended to the top, along with a notch that, for the first time, looks perfectly in place. With no gap in the middle, we can say that the screen is made of plastic that’s found on the Galaxy Fold.
As for the specs of Moto Razr 2019, it’s said to be powered by Snapdragon 710 paired with up to 6GB RAM and up to 128GB internal storage. The battery is rated at 2730mAh which we hope to be enough for that screen.
