Xiaomi is expected to launch the Black Shark 2 on October 23 as per the rumor mill and the leaked poster that has surfaced online. Now, live photos of the new gaming handset from Xiaomi were spotted and it gives us a closer look at the new gaming smartphone.
Looking at the display, no drastic changes are visible over last year’s Black Shark but the side bezels were reduced a little bit. The chin is also bare now since Xiaomi decided to get rid of the fingerprint scanner.
Moving on to the back panel of the Black Shark 2, the triangle patterned plastic of its predecessor is no longer there. Replacing the old design is a plain glass with a Black Shark logo in the center, which has been revealed to have RGB light in the previous hands-on video. The upcoming Black Shark 2 also comes with a dual rear camera setup and are now placed vertically at the center of the rear. The LED flash can be found above the camera sensors while the fingerprint scanner located underneath.
As mentioned above, the Black Shark 2 is expected to be launched globally on October 23 but neither Xiaomi nor Black Shark has confirmed the rumored launch date yet. Stay tuned!
