So far, the Sony Xperia M5 has impressed us, in more ways than one. It is considerably, one of the best upper mid-ranged phones in the market, right now, and its sudden release in the Philippine market is something to look forward to. The Xperia M5 has set a tough standard to reach, little than surpass, but what could its successor possess that will help it surpass, the powerhouse Xperia M5? Read further to know more about wanted specifics, features and capabilities, on the Xperia M5’s probable successor.
The fingerprint sensor system is completely common now, in many mid-ranged and flagships all around the market. However, the security and utility that this particular feature brings is unparalleled, and should be featured in every smartphone that’ll come to the market. The fingerprint sensor should be, one of the priority features on a probable successor to the Xperia M5, because such security functions, will greatly help the device to gather a few loyal patrons.
I know that some people might not consider this particular feature as useful or anything that would interest them, however, a stylish glossy glass back would surely be something that’ll make the Xperia M5’s successor, a phone to look forward to and i mean’t that literally. The glossy glass back should be reminiscent of the glossy back of the Xperia C5, combined with the real glass of the Xperia M5. That’ll be amazing!
Here at manilashaker, we’re very particular when it comes to bezel and space maximization, and so, its not much of a surpirse that we wanted the Xperia M5’s successor to have as less bezel as possible on a smartphone, since the extra, wasted space is something that we are truly up against. Say no to wasted bezel space!
The Xperia M5 has a lot of unique features in its sleeves, however, a feature that would have take the cake was an LED – flash feature for its selfie shooter. We’ve highlighted in our reviews that the Xperia M5 lacked a lot of finesse in terms of low light shooting. So, a selfie shot with a bit of assistance from an LED – Flash feature would totally help in resolving that little weak point of the Xperia M5 and would solidify its successor as the best shooting device ever!
Right now, the Xperia M5 has a fixed capacity of 16GB for internal storage. Its a no brainer that its successor should possess a more larger internal storage, than the Xperia M5’s 16GB internal storage, lets say about 32GB or 64GB, the possibilities are endless and if we were to see a 64GB internal storage capacity Xperia M6 then, it’ll be something to look forward to.
The Xperia M5’s speaker ain’t all that bad, actually its excellent, however, it’ll be truly amazing to see front stereo speakers on the probable successor to the Xperia M5. It’ll be something that heighten the already excellent speaker capability, established by the Xperia M4 Aqua an Xperia M5 and would totally suit, the successor’s supposedly superior qualities and features.
Talk about overkill! the fast focusing capability of the Xperia M5, paired with laser focus assistance? thats gonna be awesome. The laser autofocus capability combined with the Xperia M5’s quick focus system is something that photo buffs and selfie lovers would die for. I, for one thing is already satisfied with the Xperia M5’s focusing speed, however, if there is a possibility to combine it, with a powerful laser focus system, well, thats something to truly look forward to.
All of these options might or might not be used on the probable Xperia M5 successor, however, its always good to expect better things from an already good device, since the possibility of delivering something good is always gonna be a worthwhile surprise.
