Earlier this month, Honor just launched the Honor 9X which is now rebranded as Honor 9i. This device was introduced to us in multiple colors, Magic Night Black, Charm Sea Blue, Jade Green and Purple Fantasy. However, only the Black and Blue was launched. Today, Honor confirmed that they will be releasing the Purple Fantasy color variant this coming July 2.
The Honor 9i features a 5.84-inch IPS LCD with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19:9. Under the hood, it is powered by HiSilicon Kirin 659 along with Mali-T830 MP2. It comes with a 4GB RAM and 64GB/128GB internal storage.
As for the optics, Honor 9i sports a dual 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel rear camera and a 16-megapixel for the front-facing camera.
As for the security, it is built with a rear-mounted camera and packed with 3000 mAh battery capacity.
This variant will have a price tag of CNY 1,399 ($210) similar with other color options.
