
After the release of the Xiaomi Mi Note 3, rumors of the Redmi Note 5 had already began to surface. Aside from a probable 5.5-inch 18:9 bezel-less display, the leaked photos also brag a rumored 16MP+5MP dual cameras at the back.
Other rumors include either a 3GB/32GB ROM or a 4GB/64GB ROM variant with a Snapdragon 660 or a MediaTek P25 inside. A 4,000mAh battery is also expected. Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 5 fingerprint scanner is also seen at the back.
Estimated prices include $150/P7,600 for the 3GB RAM/16GB ROM variant and $195/P9,900 for the 3GB RAM/32GB ROM model. Lastly, a 4GB RAM/64GB ROM variant is estimated to cost $256/P13,000. Official launch is expected this October 2017 starting in China.
