Meizu M5S spotted with octa-core CPU and 2GB RAM

Mid-range handset ‘Meizu M5S’

After releasing the Meizu M5 Note last December, the Chinese company is at it again with another budget friendly handset on their storage.

Spotted on Geekbench, the mid-range device is listed running on Android Marshmallow 6.0 to go along with MediaTek MT6753 SoC octa-core CPU clocked at 1.3GHz and 2GB RAM.

Previous reports, however, revealed that it will pack a 5.2-inch HD display, 2930mAh battery, 13MP main camera, and 5MP selfie camera. Storage will vary with 2/3/4GB RAM variants and 16/32/64GB internal memory options.

Meizu M5S is said to be available in silver gray, gold, and rose gold colors. Details on pricing have yet to be revealed.
