
Huawei just launched their newest and most powerful smartphone to date, the Mate 9.
Huawei’s CEO stated that the three major “red” points of smartphones are aging performance, insufficient battery life, and average camera quality. With Huawei Mate 9, it is expected to battle the three major problems of smartphones.
Huawei Mate 9 is made of metal body with 5.9-inch IPS 1080p screen 2.D curved glass. Under the hood, it runs on the newest Kirin 960 octa-core processor clocked from 1.8GHz up to 2.4GHz, ARM Mali-G71 MP8 GPU, 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage with expandable microSD card slot.
The premium device is equipped with second-generation of 20MP f/2.2 monochrome & 12MP f/2.2 color sensor Leica dual camera with the support of OIS, 4-in-1 hybrid autofocus(laser,pdaf,depth,contrast), 4K video recording and boasts its Hybrid Zoom feature without losing the quality of the image. The selfie camera stands at 8MP f/1.9 with autofocus.
Mate 9 runs under latest Android Nougat 7.0 with EMUI 5.0 and is powered by a non-removable 4000mAh battery supporting SuperCharge with 5A charger.
The device is available in Space Gray, Moonlight Silver, Champagne Gold, Mocha Brown, and Ceramic White.
Huawei’s flagship phone is going to be released first in China, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Kuwait, Malaysia, Poland, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Thailand, and UAE. Expect the Mate 9 to be available in different countries very soon.
Huawei Mate 9 retails at €699 or around P37k Philippine peso or $775(before taxes).
