Huawei Mate 9 phablet comes in two variants, the regular Mate 9 and the Porsche Design Mate 9. The Porsche Design Mate 9(PDM9) is a tad smaller with Quad HD and curved glass construction.
The PDM9 measures at 5.5-inch QHD AMOLED curved glass display(much like the Galaxy edge design). Under the hood, it runs on the newest Kirin 960 octa-core processor clocked from 1.8GHz up to 2.4GHz, ARM Mali-G71 MP8 GPU, 6GB RAM, 256GB internal storage, and no expandable storage.
The camera configuration is pretty much the same with 20MP f/2.2 monochrome & 12MP f/2.2 color sensor Leica dual camera with the support of OIS, 4-in-1 hybrid autofocus, 4K video recording, Hybrid Zoom feature and an 8MP f/1.9 autofocus selfie camera.
PDM9 runs under latest Android Nougat 7.0 with EMUI 5.0 and is powered by a non-removable 4000mAh battery supporting SuperCharge with 5A charger.
The device is available in Graphite Black and a price of €1395 or around P75k Philippine peso or $1550(before taxes).

I read on line that the Porche version would have an expandable external memory SD card giving up to 2 terabytes of extra memory storage (?) but according to the above article this does not appear to be so (?). Further clarification is required.

Hello David. Regarding with your concern, we already confirmed that the Porsche Edition comes with non-expandable storage and ONLY the regular Huawei Mate 9 supports expandable storage for up to 256GB only. You might want to check multiple and reliable sources for further clarification.
